OUR STORY

 

Gallery195 first opened in February of 2017 in downtown Boerne, located on the Hill Country Mile at the corner of Haupstrasse and Rosewood. The owners were intent on putting together a carefully curated collection of fine art from an eclectic blend of accomplished local artists. Key to the gallery's success would be to exhibit that work in a unique setting, rich in Boerne's culture and story. They took a 136-year old building, which had once housed a millinery, drug store, and antiques, and transformed it into a warm and bright space featuring some of the most outstanding art in the Hill Country. Gallery195 was well received by the community and quickly established itself as an emerging gallery on Boerne's historic Main Street.

Gallery195 showcases fine art inspired by story, distinct perspectives, and a shared love for beauty in the world around us. Our collection features established and emerging artists who offer a variety of mediums including both oil and acrylic paintings, encaustic, ceramics, sculptural work, mixed media and photography.
